About Amanda

Yerba-Mate Drinker, barefoot enthusiast and campfire lover

Amanda is a classically-trained musician and neuroanatomist hailing from Argentina, now residing in the United States for over 24 years. Her career has included researching spinal cord injuries and stem cells, a brief period in the biotech industry, and primarily, a focus on teaching. In 2021, she stepped down from her role as an assistant professor at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY, where she taught Gross Anatomy and Neuroanatomy to first-year medical students, physician assistants, and physical therapists. She then returned to school to pursue training in Traditional Naturopathy, became a Consultant for BRMT USA, which utilizes rhythmic movement training to integrate active primitive reflexes, and earned her certification in Applied Quantum Biology through the Institute for Applied Quantum Biology.

Along her journey, Amanda founded Horaios Wellness, LLC, a business dedicated to Health Coaching and Wellness Education.

Amanda firmly believes that inspiration and education are the best forms of medicine. To support this belief, she offers one-on-one and group sessions, both in person and via Zoom, providing health coaching and educational opportunities. In these sessions, she explores practical methods to adopt circadian and quantum-friendly habits that nourish our body clocks, body water, and autonomic nervous system.

Cause

We recognize the power of the natural world to aid this process along and we believe in the importance of treating the root cause of a symptom, not merely suppressing it for temporary relief.
