And a not-so-subtle plug for our December Community Conversation coming up!

Last week I shared the first 7 questions in this impromptu December series. The hope is to inspire you with actionable ways to slow down this month. Not rev up with everyone else. Slow Down. And BECOME. Over the next 7 days, ponder the following:
Movement as Medicine - Rhythmic movement energizes cells. Stretch in sunlight, dance while cooking, or take a mindful walk. What’s your go-to movement ritual? Do share in the comments!
Connection over Consumption - This season, focus on meaningful moments. Share meals, walk together, or reflect on your wellness wins. What connection-focused activity can you partake in? Can you think of someone to invite?
Digital Sunset Challenge - Protect your peace by setting a digital sunset. Swap screens for stretching, reading, or tea rituals. Share your favorite screen-free ritual in the comments! What’s your digital sunset time?
Healing Frequencies - Tune into nature’s sounds. Birdsong, rustling leaves, gentle breezes reset your nervous system. I invite you to spend at least 15 minutes in a natural soundscape every day this week. What’s your favorite nature sound?
Quantum Gratitude - Align with abundance by practicing gratitude. End your day with three things you’re thankful for. What shifted for you today? Would you share one thing you’re thankful for here in the comments?
Sacred Space Sunday - Prepare for the week ahead with a sanctuary. Declutter, add grounding elements, and set up a meditation corner. Mine’s the couch up by the big front window. I get my morning yerba mate going, my book, a journal and a big blanket to sit under as I think and look out the window. What’s your sacred corner like?
Seasonal Rhythm Reset - Flow with the season. Adjust your routine to slower mornings and earlier evenings. As you do so, reflect on one seasonal shift. What is your favorite seasonal practice?
If you’re in Instagram, you can also head on over here and peruse this week’s posts.
And speaking of #9…
Connection over Consumption, I’d like to invite you to our December Community Conversation. This month’s topic is “Harnessing the Healing Power of Darkness”.
Did you know that WINTER is the best time to heal, detox and lose that excess weight? We are circadian beings and our bodies run on light-dark cycles. Honoring and abiding by Nature’s timing holds the key to hormone health, thorough detoxing and healthy weight management.
Join us this month to learn how to leverage the power of darkness in winter to boost your mood and your hormones. You won’t need to run to Florida to feel well!
If you are local to the Greater Syracuse and Tully, NY area, these Community Conversations are for you! We meet one Saturday a month at The Zen Den (1 State St. Tully, NY 13159). For more information and to reserve your seat you can go here. Investment: $25. Payment at the door is also welcome.
Not local? No worries! Our Online Community provides just the space to partake!
We share the same conversation twice each month, once in person, IRL at The Zen Den, and another time online, via Zoom, in our Online Community. You will find information to access this over here.
Our Community Conversations foster exactly that: much needed COMMUNITY and a safe space for real CONVERSATIONS on all things health and wellness. Come with your yoga mat or a sturdy blanket for some floor work and bring your questions!
And if life is such that you are not able to join us for our Community Conversations at all, we record these presentations and they are slowly but surely becoming part of the content offered here, both in our Online Community Membership, and as separate Masterclasses available for purchase in our Wellness Education Corner. Peruse with abandon!
Until next time!
Amanda
